Bridges takes Roger Smart Memorial TT

Jymes Bridges of Team DPS captured the $2000 first place prize this morning at the Roger Smart Memorial Sprint Time Trial hosted by Knights FR at the Queen's Park Savannah. Bridges time of 4:40.80 was 10 seconds faster than his closest rival and teammate, Gavyn Nero (Team DPS) in a time of 4:50.42. Jovian Gomez (PSL) rounded out the top 3 with a time of 4:51.30.
 
Tyler Cole (Sonics) captured the Juvenile Male category and for some time held the fastest time on the course with a time of 4:57.44. The youngster, still only 15 years old also clocked the 7th fastest time. Another impressive youngster, who only at the age of 14 was the first cyclist to dip below the 5 minutes barrier when he clocked a time of 4:59.91 to finish second in the Juveniles and 10th overall.
 
Nicholas Paul (Unattached) was crowned the Junior Male cyclist with a time of 5:07.62 while Teniel Campbell (Sonics) took the Women Open category with an impressive time of 5:42.74.
