After showing solid performances at the Junior Pan American Road & Track Championships and as well the Caribbean Road Cycling Championships where he won gold in the Men’s Individual Time Trial, Tyler Cole has earned himself a prestigious place in the UCI World Road Championships in Doha, Qatar from the 9-16 October. His participation is a first for a Junior T&T cyclist, something we are sure he is honoured to be.

Cole, who left our shores earlier today en route to a land 11,000km away will do battle in searing and unforgiving climate for cyclists against the best in the world. The 2015 Junior Pan American Bronze medalist will compete in the Junior Road Time Trial on October 11th on The Pearl, an artificial island located on the eastern seaboard of Qatar.

Following the 29.5km Time Trial, Tyler will then compete in the 135.5km Junior World Road Race once again at The Pearl on October 14th. The course which circles around Porto Arabia and Viva Bahriya, 8 times will be truly challenging event for the young 16 year old.

The TTCF wishes Tyler and the Management Team the best of luck at the UCI Junior Road Championships and continue to fly our flag high!
