  • Central Spokes Cycling Club will be hosting a double event on Sunday 15th May with a Road Race and MTB event in Gran Couva. The Road Race will see cyclists compete over a hilly 16.6km circuit for top cash prizes.

    Course Details:

    Start/Finish on the Gran Couva Main Road at the entrance to the new Couva Children's Hospital. The race will head WEST towards the Couva/Preysal Flyover where it will circle the roundabout and head EAST along the Gran Couva Main Road. Approximately 7km along the Gran Couva Main Road (after Gran Couva Police Station, Pepper Hill and the finish of 2015 National Road Race) the road meet a "Y" junction. The race will go left and continue along this by-pass road until it re-connects with the Gran Couva Main Road.

    Upon re-connecting, the race will turn RIGHT and head WEST along the Gran Couva Main Road back towards the Start/Finish Line

    Course Distances:

    Elite Men & Junior Men - 5 Laps

    Masters 40-49 & Juveniles - 3 Laps

    Masters 50-59, Masters 60-69 & Ladies Open - 2 Laps

    Registration will cost TT$60 per cyclist and will be performed via the TTCF website. Registration closes on Saturday 14th May, 2016 @ 10:00am. Sign-in begins at 6:15am and closes at 6:45am.
