When the 2017 Youth National Track Championships rolls into the Irwin Park Sporting Complex in Siparia this Saturday and Sunday from 1:00pm each day; Arima Wheelers’ star Tinymite cyclist, Ryan D’Abreau will be the favourite to champion his category.

After sweeping the Tinymite Men category at the Easter Grand Prix a few months ago, placing D’Abreau as the odds on favourite comes as second nature. However, D’Abreau wouldn’t have it easy as cyclists such as Travis Beharry (Breakaway) would be a formidable opponent.

In the Youth Development U13 category, Phoenix CC ace youth, Elijah Moses will be looking to continue his fine form as of lately but not before Mosi Williamson (Rigtech Sonics CC) has something to say about it. Kyra Williams (Open Road Challenge Accepted) has dominated the Youth Development Girls Under 11 category in 2017 but will have stiff competition from Maia Seyjagat (Arima Wheelers) and her teammate Shemaiah Hoyte (Open Road Challenge Accepted).

The Under 11 Boys category is also expected to be extremely exciting as Judah Neverson (Rigtech Sonics CC), Amari Dolloway (AWCC) and Gabriel Fortune (Open Road Challenge Accepted) all vie for National Glory!

Also featured on the final day of the Championships is the ever popular Coaches/Officials race where representatives of all clubs and Commissaires put it all on the line while riding undersized BMX bicycles. The weekend is expected to have fun and entertainment for all those in attendance with free entry for all.
